LITTLE HAVANA
Little Havana is a neighborhood of Miami. It is named after the capital of Cuba. When the Cuban people first came to Miami the Cubans made this their main residential area. Later came residents from Central and South America.
The area is home to Cuban and Latin American restaurants. You will find cafés dotting the streets featuring Cuban coffee and Café Con Leche. Don’t be surprised when you see a Dominoes game in play. It’s a relaxed life style .
Shopping here is very local and mostly Spanish is spoken here. You will find the streets filled with music and if you decide to stay for dinner many restaurants feature nightly entertainment. Some say visiting Little Havana is like visiting a foreign country.
