The city’s name comes from the Spanish word for “adventure” and it surely has lived up to its name.
Aventura is a planned suburban city in the northeastern corner of the county and is home to the Turnberry luxury resort which features The Turnberry Golf Course and a multimillion dollar horticultural three-mile walking/jogging paved promenade overlooking lakes, opulent residential high rises, yachts and the Atlantic Ocean.
